First impressions matter. When a potential home buyer starts looking at your online listing, the pictures they see will have a huge impact on how they perceive your property. If you want to show off your home at its best, please complete the following preparations before we arrive:
- Declutter your home.
- Open window coverings, such as blinds, curtains, or drapes. This will let in natural light and show off your neighborhood views.
- Turn on every lamp and light. Replace any burned out light bulbs.
- Remove everything possible from your kitchen counter (toaster, coffee pot, etc.)
- Park all vehicles away from the house or in the garage.
- Close the garage doors.
- Remove any items which may be taped or otherwise fastened to the refrigerator.
- Remove all you can from bathroom countertops (toothpaste holders, soap, toiletries, etc.) so that they are entirely clean and open.
- Put away children’s toys.
- Remove any pet bowls, litter boxes, or toys in rooms that you plan to have photographed.
- Mow the grass and tidy up the yard.
- Hide garden hoses and all garden tools.
- Help the photographer by keeping pets and people out of the way during the shoot.
